Today is the Feast of Pentecost. It is called the Birthday of the Church. And it is the day we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit upon those first apostles and upon us all. What does it mean to have the Holy Spirit come to you? For those first apostle, it meant that their fears all but disappeared and they had the courage to go into the world and share the Good News of Jesus.
They spoke and everyone understood them in their own language. For me, I feel inspiration and wisdom to preach and share His word. I feel the fortitude and courage to speak of Jesus and my beliefs in Him, through my words and actions. It could simply be a thought going through your mind. It could be a burst of energy pushing you along. Or it could be an opportunity
that comes your way to do good for someone.
