Dear Friend,

    Mary, our Blessed Mother, the Mother of Jesus, was always at His side.  She showed great faith in God when she said yes to the angel to become the Mother of the Savior.  It is that same faith and care that is the inspiration for Our Lady's Guild, our parish's women's society.

    Presently, Our Lady's Guild is conducting its annual membership drive.  We are hoping that all our present members along with many new members will make a commitment to this spiritual, social and apostolic organization.

    A get acquainted "Tea" or social will be held in the Church hall on Sunday, February 18th immediately after the 11:00 AM Mass.  All women of the parish are invited to hear about the Guild and and the many good things they do for the parish,  the community and the society itself.  All members of the Guild are encouraged to attend to share their experiences of the society.

    Meetings are held monthly on the first Wednesday.  We begin with a prayer and then continue to plan our projects and conduct the regular business of the Guild.  We acknowledge the birthdays and anniversaries of our members.  And each year we hope to surpass our efforts from the year before.  But, we can only do this through you and your dedicated effort time and ideas.  All women of the parish are invited, encouraged and most welcome to join the Guild.

    Membership dues are $1.00 per month or $12.00 per year.  Paid dues makes one an active and participating member of the Guild.  In order to join, please complete the enclosed membership form and return it with your dues by either dropping it in the Church collection basket or by mail.  Our Lady's Guild, PO Box 195, Tannersville, PA 18372.  Active members can pay their dues with this application or at the meetings.

    We hope you will become an active member or renew your current membership in this enjoyable, worthwhile and supportive Church organization.  There is so much to achieve and your most welcome participation will help us.
