Dear Parishioners: We are the Body of Christ - the Church. Each member of this body has a
function or purpose. In other words, we are all disciples of Christ.
We try to respond to the Gospel call of the Lord - to proclaim the Gospel
Message. And so, we gather to pray, to minister to each other and to the
wider community of the world.
The purpose of this letter is to share with you the ministries, activities
and functions that are available to you in our parish. I will list a short
description of the many functions and ways you might want to get involved.
These are ways where you can respond to your call to discipleship through the
sharing of your gifts of time, talent and treasure.
Reflect on the many gifts and graces God has given you. Pray and then
consider where you might want to share those gifts and graces by volunteering
and joining a society, a committee or an active ministry.
May our good and gracious Lord continue to bless each and every one of you.
May He bless our parish and continue to make our faith family one that is
prayerful and spiritual, welcoming and friendly, caring and conscientious.
Sincerely yours in Christ
Rev. Richard E. Czachor

ST. MARTHA SOCIETY
As Martha in the Scriptures was busy with the
details of hospitality, this group of volunteers helps keep our Church clean
and in order. Based on a weekly schedule, they would clean the Church,
chapel and narthex areas for the worshipers and visitors.
This work is usually done on Monday
mornings. everyone arrives at the Church between 8:30-9:00am.
The task at hand may not seem glamorous, but it is necessary work of the
Church. St. Theresa, the Little Flower, would make the most menial tasks
into something where she gave praise to God. Those who serve in this group
are giving praise to God by keeping His House of Prayer in good order.
To volunteer for this important group, please call the Church office or
just come on Monday morning.
