HOMECOMING BAZAAR 2007
WELL, OUR SUMMER HOMECOMING BAZAAR 2007 has come to a successful conclusion. It was a fantastic Bazaar. If you missed it, you missed out on a great time with some superb, delicious foods, fantastic games and prizes, over 150 Tricky Tray Baskets, and Chairman’s Choice specials valued at over $2,000. I want to thank the General Chair people and the individual chairpersons who did a fantastic job of planning, organizing and pulling off, what I feel, is the best Bazaar in the area. It’s not a carnival, but a Homecoming Bazaar where all are welcome to enjoy the festivities in a relaxing, welcoming and enjoyable setting. A tremendous job was done by the large number of workers who came out: the people who made up the beautiful tricky trays, prepared all the food, those who set up for the Bazaar during another hot and humid week, all who ran the booths and food areas, those who cleaned up on Sunday and all others who donated time, talent and a lot of energy to sponsor our Bazaar. THANK YOU for giving so much of yourself to your parish. “Your reward will be great in heaven.....” God Bless You. General Chairpersons: Shawn and Denise Brosnan Food: Pat Szczepaniak and Rocco Stigliano Games: Jim Gamble Raffles: Marge and Andy McLean Sponsors: Lonnie Burns Our Bazaar was not only a great fundraiser, but it was a great way to bring people together as a parish family. From the preparatory work prior to the Bazaar to the days of the Bazaar itself, many parishioners came out and shared their time. New friendships were made and more are recognized as fellow parishioners .
