Respect Life

“All life has inestimable value even the weakest and most vulnerable, the sick, the old, the unborn and the poor, are masterpieces of God’s creation, made in his own image, destined to live forever, and deserving of the utmost reverence and respect.” Pope Francis

Live-Streaming Masses

We continue to livestream our weekend Masses. This is for the homebound and those unable to get to Church due to various infirmities or situations. But it is not an excuse for not coming to Church in person. Livestreaming means it is watched live. It isn’t there to be seen as a tv show while eating or doing other work. Our Church is sanitized after the Masses and cleaned regularly. Masks are worn by those who feel it necessary. So the best way to attend Mass is in person and to receive Holy Communion.

Father Tom Ciba’S 50th Anniversary Celebration

Father Tom has been helping here  at O.L.V. these last few years,  celebrating Mass,  taking part in our  parish activities,  and just being  present to our faith community. He is  now celebrating his  50th Anniversary to  the Priesthood. We  will celebrate this special time with  him as a parish family on Sunday,  May 26th.  Father  will offer the 10:30  A.M. Mass as a  special Mass of Thanksgiving. Then  afterwards  we will continue the celebration in the  parish hall. Their  will be food and refreshments and a  short program to  celebrate this milestone. Father  has invited some of  his friends from other churches he  has served at. And  he welcomes you to  come celebrate this  beautiful occasion  with him.
